My Story
It all started with the Franco-Yukonnaise Association who approached me in 2017 to offer an ergonomic assessment service to their staff members as a workplace health and safety strategy. Specializing in pediatrics since leaving university as an occupational therapist, I had no experience in ergonomics other than a great interest in deepening my knowledge in a new field and seizing this opportunity. Since 2019, I have developed a service focused on prevention and education. I adopt a preventive approach where I am able to see all the people employed in the same company, rather than a few individuals. I like this approach which takes care of a company as a whole and educates people to work on screen in an optimal posture.
I feel proud when I learn that my name as an occupational therapist is making its way from one person to another, and from one company to another. I am very happy to be able to make a difference in people's lives and, above all, to see how the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders has become a priority for businesses.
